In motorcycle racing, a “supermoto” or “motard” bike is a cross between a crotch rocket and a dirt bike. Hence the inspiration for Amaro’s Supermotard—a track bike built to accept mountain bike wheels. The frame has true track bike geometry, and the 26″ wheels with 2.5″ slick mountain bike tires to achieve a wheel with roughly the same outside diameter as a 700c rim with a road bike tire.
